Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need, use it only for what we say, and tell you plainly what's happening with your data.

Last updated: 24 April 2026

Welcome — and thanks for your interest in WowMakers.

At WowMakers, we believe trust is the most important part of any client, reader, or visitor relationship. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website, how we use it, how we protect it, and what rights you have over it. It applies to all visitors — past, present, and future — of www.wowmakers.com.

By using our website, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't, please don't use the site.

Who we are

"WowMakers", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Zero Gravity Technologies LLP, a design studio registered in Kochi, Kerala, India, operating at www.wowmakers.com.

Our primary contact for privacy matters is hello@wowmakers.com.

Definitions

  • You — the person using our website, or the company or legal entity on whose behalf you're using it.
  • Personal Data — any information that identifies you, or could be combined with other data to identify you.
  • Usage Data — information collected automatically when you use the website, such as IP address, pages viewed, and time on page.
  • Service Provider — a third party we work with to help deliver, analyse, or improve our service (for example, our hosting provider, analytics tool, or email platform).
  • Cookies — small files a website stores in your browser to remember things about you or your visit.
  • Device — any device you use to access the website, such as a computer, phone, or tablet.

What we collect

You can browse most of our website without telling us anything about yourself. In that case, we may still record non-identifying Usage Data — things like IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and session duration — so we can understand how the site is being used and improve it.

If you fill out a form (to contact us, apply for a job, subscribe to our blog, or comment on content), you may provide Personal Data such as your name, email address, company, phone number, country, or resume. We only ask for what we need for the stated purpose, and we mark required fields clearly.

How we use it

  • To respond to you — if you get in touch, we'll use your information to reply.
  • To send you content you asked for — if you subscribe to our blog or newsletter, we'll use your email to send it. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in every email.
  • To consider job applications — if you apply for a role, we'll use your resume and contact details to evaluate your application. If we hire you, we'll use it for normal employment-related purposes, including background verification.
  • To improve the site — we use aggregated navigation data to make the site faster and easier to use.
  • To communicate about events — if you register for, attend, or meet us at an event we host, visit, or participate in, we may use your information to follow up.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies to recognise returning visitors, remember preferences, and understand which parts of the site are most useful. Most cookies don't themselves contain Personal Data, but some may link to personally identifiable information you've submitted. You can configure your browser to block cookies or notify you when one is sent. Disabling cookies may affect how the site works for you.

We may use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that set their own cookies. Those tools have their own privacy policies.

AI and machine-learning tools

We use AI tools internally to help design, research, and write faster — for example, drafting explainer-video scripts, generating concepts for UI exploration, or summarising research notes. When we use those tools on content you've shared with us (a brief, a form submission, documents sent by email):

  • We choose enterprise-grade AI providers whose terms commit to not training their public models on our inputs.
  • We do not knowingly share your Personal Data with any AI tool for the purpose of training an external model.
  • We treat AI-tool usage the same as any other Service Provider — minimum necessary data, purpose-limited, contractually bound where possible.

If you'd prefer us to avoid AI processing of specific materials during a project, tell us and we'll accommodate it.

Minors

Our website is not directed at people under 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 18 without verified parental or guardian consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please email hello@wowmakers.com and we will delete it promptly.

Who we share your data with

We will seek your consent before using or sharing your Personal Data for any purpose beyond what we collected it for. We may share it with:

  • Affiliates, business partners, Service Providers, and authorised third-party agents or contractors anywhere in the world — strictly to deliver the service you asked for, and only under data-privacy obligations equivalent to ours.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, when we're legally required to.
  • A successor entity, if we're involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business — in which case you'll be notified.

We do not sell your Personal Data to anyone.

Your rights

You can email hello@wowmakers.com at any time to:

  • Request a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
  • Ask us to delete it.
  • Ask us to stop using it for marketing.
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave.

We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request. We aim to respond within 30 days.

European Economic Area (GDPR)

For visitors in the EEA, we are the Data Controller of your Personal Data. Our legal basis for processing depends on context — it may be consent, contract, our legitimate interests, or compliance with a legal obligation. In addition to the rights above, you have the right to object to processing, the right to restriction, the right to data portability, and the right to complain to your local Data Protection Authority.

California (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what categories of Personal Information we collect, use, or share; the right to access the specific pieces of Personal Information we hold about them; the right to equal service regardless of exercising any privacy right; the right to request deletion; and the right to direct us not to sell their personal data — although, as stated, we don't sell personal data.

India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023)

If you are located in India, the DPDP Act 2023 applies to our processing of your Personal Data. Under this law, you have the right to access and confirm what data we process about you, the right to correct or erase your data, the right to nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity, and the right to a grievance redressal mechanism. For any grievance, please email hello@wowmakers.com. We will acknowledge within 48 hours and respond substantively within 30 days.

Data security

We have reasonable technical and organisational safeguards in place to protect your Personal Data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, improper use, and unauthorised disclosure. Staff with access to personal data are trained on data-handling responsibilities. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to use strong, current protections.

Data retention

We hold your Personal Data only as long as it's needed to fulfil the purpose we collected it for, to meet legal or accounting requirements, or to resolve disputes. When it's no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Communication preferences

You can choose not to receive newsletters, invitations, or other marketing correspondence from us by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, or by emailing hello@wowmakers.com. Transactional or service-related communications (such as responses to your enquiries or job applications) will continue regardless.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, when laws change or when we add new services. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will always reflect the latest revision. If we make material changes, we will make the revised version available on this page in advance of the effective date, and, where appropriate, we will notify you directly.

Governing law

This policy and your use of our website are governed by the laws of the Union of India, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this policy are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ernakulam, Kerala, and shall be finally settled under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended), by a single arbitrator appointed mutually by the parties. The place of arbitration is Kochi. Proceedings shall be in English.
